Field trip went well, but all departments wanted a piece of me. Well, I should say, a piece of the company. I accomplished what I set out to do, and then some. I must say I gained a helluva lot more respect for my field techs. A HELLUVA lot more.
BONUS, when I walked in to get my mondo burrito, there was NO line. I snagged my carnitas and hit the road. SAILED down the freeway. All was right with the world...and then...
The second I got into the office, they're on me like buzzards on carion. (DAMMIT, Jim, I didn't travel halfway across the galaxy to let this burrito go to WASTE!) ...and... into the fridge it went.
I FINALLY sat down, resigning myself to the fact that my mondo burrito was "dinner."
Then brotherman called...pizza and wings, on his dime...okay, mondo, you've just become tomorrow's lunch...
Did we EVEN touch the pizza and wings? Um...no.
Did we tune the guitars and jam? Oh, hell YEAH!!! One of the coolest times with li'l bro I've had in a long time.
We ended up just splitting up the food and calling it a night. Better that I don't eat cheese this late, anyway...let alone a mondo burrito...
