Yep! SUMMER in the DESERT.
I'm gonna TRY not to bitch so much about it this year, but don't count on it.
My only salvation: The EVENING SKY pics.
I went out today right around dusk...UN-FREAKIN'-BELIEVEABLE:
I swear to ALL of you on EVERYTHING that has meaning to me, I took all of these posted pictures with my camera-phone. They do not EVEN do the sky justice. Breathtaking...
And, of course, I saved the best for last:
Check this OUT! I walked right outside my front door, into the parking lot and "AWWW, SNAP!" There was this. I may just save it and get it framed. Hell, maybe I can sell it to AZ Highways magazine! This shot was SO worth burning the crap out of my bare feet on that blacktop. LOLThis SO made Monday worth, well, Monday.
OH! Got the call from the liver guy's office: ALL blood is NORMAL. Duh! I KNEW all that shit was due to the flippin' antibiotics earlier in the year. Now it's just a matter of scheduling. I'm SO getting drunk. Then I'll be good, then CUT ME, DAMMIT!
Happy Tuesday, kids!

Wonderful pics K! I guess I really shouldn't complain too much about the heat here. After all, it's only 90 degrees every day in Kentucky this time of year.
cork ~ thanks! yeah, this time of year it gets pretty brutal, but nothing compared to the humidity you guys have to deal with...till next month. ;-)
Those pictures are so great! Love the colors!
It was 105 here Saturday....then there's the goddamn humidity.
Ick! :(
Love the pictures! Very pretty. Still couldn't get me to live in the desert, though. Not a heat kind of gal. Blah! It's bad enough when it gets over a hundred here. Couldn't live with it on an ongoing basis.
Congrats on the blood work. Go have a drink!
Take that puppy to a good photo center and ask them to blow it up to a good size and frame it!
You desparately need 2 things for the summer:
1. a good pair of slip on, tossabout shoes to set right at your front door for quick trips outside.
2. a remote starter for your car so you can set the a/c ahead of time, then just hit the button about 15 minutes before you need to hop in your car!
NO foot blisters like last year, young lady! Oh, and don't drink before your next blood tests! At least not within a few days ;)
xoxo
Congratulations on having normal blood. I cannot imagine 115 degrees heat. That is what a heat-wimp I've become. We get all wigged out around here when the temperature goes up to 85.
THe sky is gorgeous!! makes me wish I was heading back out there. It was this time last year that I was preparing my cross country drive and I do miss it.
The sky better be that nice when I come see you!
bee-you-tiffle sky shots!
do you have to use an oven mitt to open your car door?
It's 93 in Connecticut and we're all whining like it's a nuclear apocalypse over here.
But then, you have a dry heat.
